American Politics – A Short Story

Once upon a time there was a couple who lived in a well built middle-upper class home in the suburbs. It had been occupied ever since anyone could remember by Jeb and Sally McFarland. To the old timers, they had always been a successful couple, not without arguments, but quite influential in the neighborhood.

2011 – Thoughts

I know it has been a very long while since my last post but I have been extremely busy. As these posts go to the unknown internet I won’t tell you what events have happened but I can tell you that what are categorized as life’s most stressful events, I went through two of them in succession. No worries however, they were both good. On top of that the holidays happened and I had many many guests, also which was a great pleasure but left no time for posting.

Sarah Palin – America’s own Jean-Marie Le Pen?

Unlike Europe and Le Pen, there is no outrage about the things Palin says even though they are eerily similar. I simply cannot put my finger on it but if I had to draw an analogy I would say Mr. Le Pen is a huge pile of manure sitting in the street for everyone to see. Palin would be more like a small turd enclosed in a pretty box wrapped with a bow.
