USA – Muslim Hearings

I have procrastinated on writing a post about this topic for too long.  As some of you have seen, I’ve already stated our opinion in the forum.

For those Global Citizens out there, you don’t even need to read the forum to know what our opinion is.  The reason I procrastinated is… well.. you know my style, it takes me a minute to get worked up.  Further, as we have gained A LOT of readers I suddenly feel that I have to write a very involved post with pictures/video and the like.  I also try to temper my views a little as I’m aware so many people may be reading and it made me self conscious.

Well, let’s dispense with all that.  I’m just going to do an opinion dump like the days of old!

Simply put, this hearing on “The Radicalization of US Muslims” is a bunch of crap and Representative King is (to use the most popular put down on FB among Neanderthals) a DOUCHE BAG!

No.  No touchy feely, trying to take into account everyone’s feelings kind of post this will be.  This guy is an idiot.

I’m also not going to try to analyze everything and present all the reasons why.  I’m just going to tell you how it is.

When the government targets an entire group of people for the wrongdoings of a few what do you think will happen?  Will it make things better?  Will it ameliorate the situation?  NO!!!!!!

Just like an human being these people enjoy raising a family, success and bettering themselves.  But the government wants to demonize the entire lot of them!  HORRIBLE!!

Perhaps now, a story from my deceased Grandfather would do.  As Nazi comparisons seem to be in vogue in the USA this will be fitting.  My Grandpa spoke a bit of German and he captured quite a few.  He realized that the majority of them did not really hate the Jews and were simply dragged into the awfulness. They really did not want to leave their beer halls, their warm fires to go out into the cold and start shooting people.  He felt sympathy for a good portion of the ones he captured.

Now, the USA Muslims are certainly not Nazis.  And the majority do not want to strap on a bomb and go blow something up.  But, do we now condemn the entire nation of Germany when it was really only a few people who directed this hatred?  Was there a hearing on German citizens of the USA?  They certainly were not sent to concentration camps like the Japanese citizens were.

The USA was made up from a good portion of German stock!  We were in fact, Germans!

Now, we have a few extremists that want to do bad things and they happen to be Muslims.  So what does Rep. King do?  He lumps them in with ALL MUSLIMS!!!

I think it just goes to show that human beings have an innate distrust of those that are very different from them.

1. Japanese sent to concentration camps during WWII.  German citizens no problem.

2.  Mexicans – The Illegal Immigration problem. Everyone gets all worked up.

3. Muslims – Now Muslims!  Let’s have a friggin public spectacle!

We did not have an inquisition on Irish citizens for the IRA and we did not have a hearing on ourselves for the “radicalization” of the colonists when they decided to split from Britain.  Hell, Rep King SUPPORTED THE IRA!!!  They were a terrorist group!  The difference is that it was a terrorist group that many white Americans supported.  Yet, for the Muslims, being a group so different, this is one he obviously cannot support and maybe gain some political points by condemning.

You see where I’m going.  It is only a problem when bad acts are committed and the group is not considered “American” enough.  How stupid.

If we are to be a great nation we have to include everyone and discriminate against none.  This would be an excellent time to have  a wise leader such as Solomon or hell… even Sancho Panza when he acquired his “Island.”  These hearings are just plain wrong and we need a leader to call them as such.

Here is what you do current leaders.

1.  You stop this inquisition immediately
2.  You work with Muslim Americans and help them to feel included as possible. 
3. You treat the terrorists like you would any criminal and work with the leaders of the Muslim community.

You do not HOLD A PUBLIC SPECTACLE WHICH DEMONIZES ALL OF THEM!

As I wrote in “Global Citizen vs. Black Ops: Call of Duty” how would we feel if we went into a foreign country and found a game where you kill Americans.  By the same notion, how would we feel if the country in which we live decides to hold a government sponsored inquisition against our group in its entirety?

I also have to slam the White House for this as they have not publicly derided this nonsense.  Get with the program Barack cause your pissing off us enlightened folks who voted for you.  Stop tip toeing around the issue and condemn it for God’s sakes.  You guys are being “Girly Men” as Arnold would say.

If we look at this from a religious standpoint, isn’t one of the main tenants to “Love Thy Neighbor?”  Yet, this just advocates hate, pure and simple.  All of you that go to church everyday, participate in all the ceremonies and such this would be a good time to show your support for fellow human beings who are being ostracized by the government.  But from what I have seen, no, you just prefer to go to church, socialize and not pay a damned attention to loving people.  Say the rosary, put ashes on your head, yet you miss the entire damn message by hating people.  F&^%&^g hilarious.

Drawing U.S. Crowds With Anti-Islam Message

Great, now we have a Middle-Eastern version of Sarah Palin.  What an idiot.

I had to laugh when I read this:

“I lost Lebanon, my country of birth, to radical Islam,” she wrote. “I do not want to lose my adopted country America.”’

What in the hell is she talking about?  That area has been surrounded by Muslims for as long as anyone can remember!  Just read Wikipedia for God’s Sakes!

Sure, they had their hardships but we are talking over 1000 years of history here.  It is not like radical Muslims just decided to rise up and take it recently?  But of course the crowds her speeches draw do not know anything about history.  Yes, there is an uneasy alliance and plenty of pressure from larger countries such as Israel and Syria.  The thing that really pisses me off though is that she is portraying “the loss of her country” as a recent event and due to radicals!  Hell woman, your country has had problems for EONS!  Now you come to the USA and try to become famous by denouncing Muslims just because you come from the Middle East?

Hell, put a veil on you and people would think you were a Muslim.  Nobody here knows what a Maronite is so just shut up.

Yes readers, you can see that I am quite perturbed.  We haven’t advanced an inch since the crusades.  All the university study, all the technology, yet we still resort to the same problems that were going on 1000 years ago.

From all my travels, all my learning, I feel very grateful that I have a following (many of you who read this blog) who are enlightened, can see the wrongs being committed in modern day and have the guts to call it out.

This hearing is one of those times and all Global Citizens should roundly condemn it.
