Vietnamese Women Are Beautiful!

Quick post here.  Being a Global Citizen, I find that Vietnamese women are very feminine, gentle and wonderful.  But just be careful not to make them upset or else you will be in trouble!

Quick story, Global Citizen style.  I once attended an event in Saigon where there were many beautiful ladies wearing the Ao Dai.  I was sitting at a table with a wealthy American financial CEO and one of the local leaders of the Communist party.

The American businessman got drunk and said “I don’t care about the dresses!”

Communist Official:  You don’t care about the dresses?”

So in short, it became very uncomfortable very quickly.  The American saw them as sex objects and the Communist official was quite offended.

Being a Global Citizen, we should see the beauty of the culture and how wonderful the craftsman ship of the dresses are.  So feminine, so wonderful!  Yet unfortunately not all will see this.

Just another example how we should all strive to enjoy the beauty of other cultures and how Western society may have corrupted us.

Needless to say, I wrote an e-mail to the Communist official apologizing for the crassness of my countryman and how not everyone is like that.

More understanding, more respect = better international relations = better for humanity.

How is that for a short lesson on world peace?    🙂

There were so many times in Saigon that I saw very rough foreigners come to Vietnam for brides.  It made me so sad that such beautiful ladies could be essentially bought just on the hopes of a better life in the rich world.  I always thought that it was such a shame.  Life in the rich world just isn’t worth having an idiot slob for a husband.  Beautiful poor girl with ugly rich man and the knowledge that her life just wouldn’t be very happy even if she could send money home.  It just doesn’t seem right at all!  Too many slobs too many wonderful girls marrying them!  Unacceptable!!!
